THE SLIPPERY SLOPE TO FELONIOUS MISMANAGEMENT
The COAS last summer committed to reward a faculty member at
the rank of lecturer with a paltry pay increase. We are well into the spring
semester, and the faculty member has yet to be paid. However, the COAS in its
machinations to deprive students of contact with an extremely popular senior
professor has though nothing of incurring entirely unnecessary expenses which
far surpass the money owed to the aggrieved lecturer.
This constitutes petty mismanagement on the part of the
COAS. Those who engage in petty mismanagement are placing themselves on the
slippery slope to felonious mismanagement.
